I am Sami Elkhayri, and I have spent my career living in the space between hard data and human hope. My journey into environmentalism didn’t start in a lab or a lecture hall, but out of a simple, growing conviction: we know enough about our planet’s crises to do better.

My book, One Earth, One Chance, is the culmination of this life’s work. It’s not an academic text but a conversation. I’ve sifted through decades of complex policies and scientific studies to bring you the clearest picture of our challenges and, more importantly, the most practical and scalable solutions. I wrote it for everyone who has ever felt overwhelmed by the headlines but still holds a stubborn belief that we can build a healthier world.
